Sharks rugby player receives vehicle sponsorship from Indy Oil

Mzamo Majola, one of the newest members of The Sharks rugby team drove off in a Chevrolet Cruze courtesy of G.U.D. on 7 April 2016.  The up and coming rugby loose head prop made his debut last year at the Shark Tank in a Currie Cup match against the Blue Bulls.

Mzamo is a former Sharks Academy student who received a G.U.D. Holdings sports bursary in 2013. As the largest player sponsor of the Sharks Academy we have invested millions over the years toward the development of talented students who are pursuing a professional sports career.  “We are incredibly proud of Mzamo’s rugby achievements, especially his contract with The Sharks. We believe in his talent and wanted to support him even further with a vehicle sponsorship to assist him with his transportation requirements.” says Red Shuttleworth, CEO, G.U.D. Holdings.

The 20 year old Sharks player was thrilled about his new set of wheels and expressed his appreciation, “It is a privilege to be recognized by a renowned company like G.U.D. Holdings that believes in me and my sporting aspirations. Getting to The Sharks training sessions and matches will be breeze now thanks to my vehicle sponsorship.”

Mzamo has caught the eye of several key rugby industry members and has been labeled as the one to watch according to his former coach at The Sharks Academy.
